Q-Collar Week in Review (4/29/24) - Q30

This past week was an exciting week for athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out some of their highlights below.


NFL Draft

Last week was the 2024 NFL Draft! Check out the Collared Up athletes selected and heading to training camp this season!

  • First Round: Laitu Latu (Indianapolis Colts)
  • Second Round: Marshawn Kneeland (Dallas Cowboys)
  • Third Round: Marist Liufau (Dallas Cowboys), Jalyx Hunt (Philadelphia Eagles)
  • Fourth Round: Tyrice Knight (Seattle Seahawks), Will Shipley (Philadelphia Eagles), Jaden Hicks (Kansas City Chiefs), Braelon Allen (New York Jets)
  • Fifth Round: JD Bertrand (Atlanta Falcons)
  • Sixth Round: Kimani Vidal (Los Angeles Chargers)
  • Seventh Round: Michael Pratt (Green BayPackers)

NCAA Women’s Lacrosse

  • University of Maryland Attacker Victoria Hensch notched a goal in the Terps’ 9-8 Big 10 Tournament Quarterfinals loss to Rutgers. Hensch’s teammates Shay Ahearn and Emily Sterling tallied 7 draw controls and 10 saves respectively in the loss. With her 7 draw controls, Ahearn topped 400 career draw controls, making her the third Terp in history to ever reach this milestone.
  • Syracuse defender Katie Goodale recorded 8 caused turnovers, 5 draw controls, and 4 ground balls in the Orange’s ACC Tournament run which resulted in a 15-8 loss to Boston College in the ACC Finals.

NCAA Men’s Lacrosse

  • Notre Dame Attackman Pat Kavanagh had 4 points from 2 goals and 2 assists in the Fighting Irish’s 11-9 win over UVA. With these 4 points, Kavanagh set the all-time career program points record at ND with 274.
  • Duke Attackman Brennan O’Neill had 3 points from 2 goals and an assist in Duke’s 15-12 loss to UNC. 
  • University of Albany Attackman Ryan Dohrety led the Great Danes to an 18-10 victory over Birmingham with 4 points from 4 goals. Dohrety’s teammate Silas Richmond had 2 assists and 3 ground balls in the win. With the win, Albany secured the 2024 America East Regular Season Championship for the first time since 2018.
  • Utah Attackman Ryan Stines recorded 4 points from 3 goals and an assist in the Utes 25-8 win over Queens College of Charlotte. 

MLS

  • San Jose Earthquakes Striker Jeremy Ebobisse started and played 64 minutes of the Earthquakes’ 1-1 draw to Nashville SC.

NWSL

  • Angel City FC teammates Megan Reid and Rocky Rodriguez started and played all 90 minutes of Angel City’s 3-1 loss to the KC Current.
  • Bay FC Defender Emily Menges started and played all 90 minutes in the Bay’s 2-1 loss to San Diego Wave.

MLB 

  • San Francisco Giants catcher Patrick Bailey went 4 for 18 including a walk off home run and 3 RBIs in the 5 games he appeared in this week, 2 against the New York Mets and 3 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. 

MiLB

  • Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 5 for 15 with one run and 3 RBIs in the 4 games he appeared in, all against Scranton.
