Premier Lacrosse League:
- Carolina Chaos Attackman Chad Palumbo scored 2 goals (#1, #2) and tallied 1 assist in his PLL debut, leading the Chaos’ to a 10-8 victory over the Philadelphia Waterdogs.
- On the other side, Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Kieran McArdle netted 2 goals and logged 1 assist in the Waterdogs’ 10-8 loss to the Carolina Chaos. McArdle’s teammate, Attackman Michael Sowers, netted 2 goals, which included this back door snipe, and tallied 1 assist in the loss. Defenseman Kenny Brower caused 1 turnover and recovered 2 ground balls.
- New York Atlas Attackman Bryan Costabile netted a two-point goal and a one-point goal, and tallied 1 assist in the Atlas’ 16-9 loss to the Denver Outlaws.
- On the opposition, Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill logged 1 goal and 2 assists in the Outlaws’ 16-9 win over the New York Atlas.
- Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman scored 1 goal and tallied 1 assist in the Cannons’ 17-10 loss to the Maryland Whipsnakes.
- Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 12 saves in the Archers’ 8-5 loss to the Maryland Whipsnakes.
Women’s Lacrosse League:
- Maryland Charm Attacker Sydni Black netted 5 goals, which included these three scores (#1, #2, #3), and tallied 1 assist in the Charm’s 18-17 overtime win over the California Palms. Goaltender Caylee Waters made 13 saves, caused 2 turnovers and picked up the win.
MILB Baseball:
- Charleston RiverDogs (Tampa Bay Rays Class A Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 1 for 13 with 1 walk and 2 runs scored across the four games he appeared in, all against the Columbia Fireflies (Kansas City Royals Class A Affiliate).
