- Oklahoma State University Linebacker Ethan Wesloski made a team-high 17 tackles, which included 0.5 tackles-for-loss, in the Cowboys’ 42-28 win over the University of Central Florida. For his performance, Wesloski was named Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
- Notre Dame Running Back Jonaz Walton rushed for 181 yards and 2 touchdowns (#1, #2) on 13 attempts in the Fighting Irish’s 58-7 win over Stanford University. For his performance, Walton was named 247 Sports True Freshman of the Week. Linebacker Drayk Bowen posted a team-high 6 tackles in the victory.
- University of Oklahoma Linebacker Owen Heinecke posted a team-high 9 tackles, which included 2.5 tackles-for-loss like this stop, in the Sooners’ 27-24 victory over the University of Texas. Defensive Back Michael Boganowski added 5 tackles in the win.
- Ball State University Linebacker Kaleb Stewart posted 8 tackles in the Cardinals’ 45-14 loss to Northwestern University.
- UNC-Charlotte Linebacker Gavin Willis posted 4 tackles in the 49ers 50-10 loss to the University of North Texas.
- Florida International University Wide Receiver James Resar caught 3 passes for 28 yards in the Panthers’ 22-3 win over New Mexico State University.
