Q-Collar Week in Review (11/4/24) - Q30

This week was yet another week loaded with exciting performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out some of their highlights below.

National Football League:

  • Tennessee Titans Tight End Nick Vannett caught 2 passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Titans’ 20-17 overtime victory over the New England Patriots. Running Back Tony Pollard, rushed for 128 yards on 28 attempts, which included this 32-yard pickup, in the win.
  • For the New England Patriots, Linebacker Christian Elliss made 6 tackles in Patriots’ 20-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Elliss’ teammate, Safety Jaylinn Hawkins, made 4 tackles in the loss.
  • Los Angeles Chargers Cornerback Elijah Molden made 6 tackles and logged an interception in the Chargers’ 27-10 win over the Cleveland Browns.
  • Cincinnati Bengals Linebacker Logan Wilson made a team-high 9 tackles and recovered a fumble in the Bengals’ 41-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Wilson’s teammate, Defensive End Sam Hubbard, made 3 tackles in the win.
  • Minnesota Vikings Cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. logged 4 tackles, 1 pass deflection, and an interception in the Vikings’ 21-13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
  • Buffalo Bills Safety Taylor Rapp made 10 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, in the Bills’ 30-27 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Tight End Dalton Kincaid, caught 4 passes for 32 yards in the win.
  • Los Angeles Rams Cornerback Quentin Lake made 8 tackles, including a sack, in the Rams’ 26-20 overtime win over the Seattle Seahawks.
  • New York Jets Cornerback Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner made 6 tackles and recorded 1 pass deflection in the Jets’ 21-13 win over the Houston Texans. Running Back Braelon Allen, rushed for 9 yards on 4 attempts in the win.
  • For the Houston Texans, Tight End Dalton Schultz made 3 catches for 21 yards in the Texans’ 21-13 loss to the New York Jets.
  • New Orleans Saints Tight End Juwan Johnson caught 2 passes for 41 yards in the Saints’ 23-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
  • New York Giants Linebacker Isaiah Simmons made 1 tackle in the Giants’ 27-22 loss to the Washington Commanders.
  • Chicago Bears Running Back Travis Homer made 1 special teams tackle in the Bears’ 29-9 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

NCAA Football:

  • Clemson University Running Back Phil Mafah rushed for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns (#1, #2) on 30 attempts, and caught 5 passes for 28 yards in the Tigers’ 33-21 loss to the University of Louisville.
  • University of Wisconsin Linebacker Jake Chaney made 10 tackles in the Badgers’ 42-10 loss to the University of Iowa.
  • University of Memphis Linebacker Chandler Martin made a team-high 10 tackles, including 2 tackles-for-loss, in the Tigers’ 44-36 loss to the University of Texas-San Antonio.
  • UCONN Quarterback Nick Evers completed 10 of 16 passes for 75 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for 25 yards along with a touchdown on 9 attempts in the Huskies’ 34-27 win over Georgia State University.
  • University of Minnesota Linebacker Maverick Baronowski made 3 tackles in the Golden Gophers’ 25-17 victory over the University of Illinois.
  • Michigan State University Running Back Nathan Carter Jr. rushed for 6 yards on 8 attempts in the Spartans’ 47-10 loss to the University of Indiana.
  • Colorado State University Tight End Vince Brown II caught 1 pass for 10 yards in the Rams’ 38-21 victory over the University of Nevada.
  • Baylor University Defensive Lineman Treven Ma’ae and Linebacker Kyler Jordan made 1 tackle apiece in the Bears’ 37-34 win over Texas Christian University.

NWSL Soccer:

  • Bay FC Defender Emily Menges started and played all 90 minutes of their 3-2 win over the Houston Dash. With the win, Bay FC became the 2nd-ever expansion franchise to reach the NSWL Playoffs in their first year.
  • Portland Thorns FC Defender Meghan Klingenberg subbed-in and contributed to Portland’s defensive efforts in their 3-0 victory over Angel City FC. With the win, Portland Thorns FC clinched a spot in the NWSL Playoffs.
  • On the other side, Angel City FC Defender Megan Reid started and played all 90 minutes.
