There was a ton of action from athletes wearing the Q-Collar around sports this week, including the addition of another Champion on the Q-Collar Team! Check out some of their highlights below.

Premier Lacrosse League

  • We’ve got another Champion on the Q-Collar Team! Marcus Holman and the Boston Cannons defeated the Philadelphia Waterdogs in an OT thriller to win the 2024 PLL Championship Series. Holman had 5 points from 3 goals, including a 2-pointer, and an assist in the win.

NCAA Men’s Lacrosse

  • Duke Attackman Brennan O’Neill led the Blue Devils to a 23-7 victory over Jacksonville with 7 points from 5 goals and 2 assists, including this Sports Center Top 5 BTB goal. The win was O’Neill 26th game with 5 or more points. His teammate Connor Drake scored his first goal of the year in the win.
  • Notre Dame Attackman Pat Kavanagh had 2 assists and the goal to send the game to OT in the Fighting Irish’s 11-10 loss to Georgetown.
  • UPenn Attackman Cam Rubin had 3 goals, including this one to put his team ahead, in the Quaker’s 11-10 win over Delaware. Rubin’s teammate James Shipley recorded 2 assists in the win.

NCAA Women’s Lacrosse

  • University of Maryland Midfielder Shay Ahearn recorded 10 draw controls, 1 caused turnover, and 1 ground ball in a pair of games this past week, a win over Drexel and an OT loss to Florida. Her teammate, goalie Emily Sterling, had 20 saves, including this one, over the two games.
  • On the opposition, Florida goalie Georgia Hoey had 7 saves in the Gators’ win over the Terps and set up this transition goal to put the Gators within 2.
  • Syracuse Defenseman Katie Goodale had 2 caused turnovers and 3 draw controls in the Orange’s 16-14 win over Notre Dame.

CONCACAF Gold Cup

  • Midfielder Rocky Rodriguez captained the Costa Rica National Team to a 2-0 win over El Salvador in the CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage finals. Rodriguez played all 90 minutes and assisted the first goal.
