Q-Collar Week in Review (6/10/24) - Q30

This week was loaded with exciting performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out some of their highlights below.

Premier Lacrosse League:

  • Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill scored 7 goals, including this bottom-corner finish to force overtime as well as the game-winner in overtime, and logged an assist in the Outlaws’ 18-7 victory over the Utah Archers.
  • On the opposition, Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 18 saves and recorded an assist in the loss.
  • Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman netted 4 goals (#1, #2, #3, #4) in the Cannons’ 13-9 victory over the Maryland Whipsnakes. Holman’s teammate, Attackman Pat Kavanagh, scored 2 goals including the first of his PLL career, and recorded an assist in the win.
  • Carolina Chaos Attackman Jules Heningburg netted 5 total goals including this bouncing finish and this bottom-corner snipe across the Chaos’ two matchups, a 12-11 victory over the California Redwoods and a 15-12 loss to the New York Atlas. Heningburg’s teammates, Defensemen Jack Rowlett and Will Bowen, recovered 4 ground balls and 1 ground ball, respectively, across the two games. Rowlett also caused 2 total turnovers, including this over the head check, and Bowen recorded 1 total turnover.
  • California Redwoods Attackman Rob Pannell scored 2 goals (#1, #2) and recorded 2 assists in the Redwoods’ 12-11 loss to the Carolina Chaos. Pannell’s teammate, Midfielder Nakeie Montgomery, recovered 1 ground ball in the loss.

NWSL Soccer:

  • Angel City FC Defender Megan Reid and Midfielder Rocky Rodriguez each started for Angel City FC in their 2-1 loss to Gotham FC. Reid played all 90 minutes of the match.
  • Bay FC Defender Emily Menges started and played all 90 minutes of Bay FC’s 2-1 victory over the Chicago Red Stars.
