Premier Lacrosse League:
- New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile scored 2 two-point goals (#1, #2) and 2 one-point goals, which included this score on the doorstep, across the Atlas’ two matchups this week, a pair of victories over the Boston Cannons and Maryland Whipsnakes.
- Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman netted a hat-trick, which included this diving finish, in the Cannons’ 12-11 loss to the New York Atlas.
- Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 18 saves in the Archers’ 16-14 loss to the California Redwoods.
Women’s Lacrosse League:
- New York Charging Midfielder Emily Hawryschuk netted a hat-trick in the Charging’s 12-10 win over the Maryland Charm.
- On the other side, Maryland Charm Attacker Sydni Black tallied 2 goals (#1, #2) in the Charm’s 12-10 loss to the New York Charging. Goaltender Caylee Waters made 8 saves in the defeat.
MILB Baseball:
- Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays Class AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 6 for 23 with a double and 1 RBI across the five contests he appeared in this week, all against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Miami Marlins Class AAA Affiliate).
