Premier Lacrosse League:

  • New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile netted 4 total goals, including this two-pointer and this one-pointer off a jump shot, in the Atlas’ 17-9 win over the Philadelphia Waterdogs.
  • On the opposition, Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Michael Sowers scored 2 goals, including this snipe, and logged 1 assist in the Waterdogs’ 17-9 loss to the New York Atlas. Sowers’ teammate, Attackman Kieran McArdle, also netted 2 goals, including this finish on the doorstep, in the loss. Defenseman Kenny Brower recovered 1 ground ball in the contest.
  • Maryland Whipsnakes Attackman Rob Pannell scored 2 total goals, including this finish off a spin move, and logged 5 total assists, including his 293rd career assist, which broke the professional lacrosse all-time career assists record, across the Whipsnakes’ two contests, a 13-12 loss to the Boston Cannons and a 20-6 win over the Carolina Chaos.
  • Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill tallied 2 assists in the Outlaws’ 13-10 win over the Utah Archers. O’Neill’s teammate, Defenseman Jesse Bernhardt, recovered 2 ground balls in the win.
  • On the opposition, Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 15 saves in the Archers’ 13-10 loss to the Denver Outlaws.
  • Carolina Chaos Defenseman Jack Rowlett caused 2 turnovers in the Chaos’ 20-6 loss to the Maryland Whipsnakes.

FIFA Club World Cup:

  • LAFC Striker Jeremy Ebobisse logged 1 start and one entry off the bench in LAFC’s two FIFA Club World Cup matchups, a pair of losses to Chelsea FC and ES Tunis.
