Premier Lacrosse League:
- Carolina Chaos Midfielder Chad Palumbo tallied 4 total goals, which included these two unassisted scores (#1,#2) and his first PLL hat-trick, along with 1 total assist, a behind-the-back setup, across the Chaos’ two matchups this week, a loss to the Utah Archers and a win over the Denver Outlaws. Defenseman Jack Rowlett recovered 2 total ground balls and caused 1 total turnover across the same stretch.
- Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman scored a one-point goal and a two-point goal in the Cannons’ 17-10 loss to the Philadelphia Waterdogs.
- Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill scored a two-point goal and logged 2 assists in the Outlaws’ 12-11 loss to the Carolina Chaos.
- On the opposition, Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Michael Sowers scored a goal and tallied 3 assists in the Waterdogs’ 17-10 victory over the Boston Cannons. Attackman Kieran McArdle added 1 goal and 1 assist in the win. Defenseman Kenny Brower recovered 3 ground balls and caused 1 turnover.
- Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 15 saves in the Archers’ 15-7 win over the Carolina Chaos.
- New York Atlas SSDM Danny Logan recovered 2 ground balls in the Atlas’ 12-11 loss to the California Redwoods.
MILB Baseball:
- Charleston RiverDogs (Tampa Bay Rays Class A Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 6 for 20 with 1 home run, 1 triple and 7 RBI’s across the 5 games he appeared in, all against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Chicago Cubs Class A Affiliate). Behind the plate, Driscoll also caught 1 runner stealing.
