Pro Football Hall of Fame:
- Retired NFL All-Pro Linebacker Luke Kuechly was selected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and included the Q-Collar as part of his exhibition.
Premier Lacrosse League:
- Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman netted 7 total goals, which included an overtime game-winner and this diving finish, across the Cannons’ two contests this weekend, a pair of victories over the Maryland Whipsnakes and California Redwoods.
- Carolina Chaos Midfielder Chad Palumbo netted 2 goals, which included this behind-the-back score, and tallied 1 assist in the Chaos’ 13-12 loss to the Utah Archers.
- On the opposition, Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 12 saves in the Archers’ 13-12 win over the Carolina Chaos.
- Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill scored a goal and tallied 4 assists in the Outlaws’ 14-9 victory over the New York Atlas.
Minor League Baseball:
- Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays Class AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 6 for 19 with a home run, a double and 4 RBI’s across the five games he appeared in, all against the Charlotte Knights (Chicago White Sox Class AAA Affiliate).
