- San Jose Earthquakes Striker Jeremy Ebobisse scored 2 goals (#1, #2) in the Earthquakes’ 5-0 victory over Club Necaxa in the 2024 Leagues Cup. For his performance, Ebobisse was named Man of the Match.
NWSL Soccer:
- Angel City FC Defender Megan Reid started and played all 90 minutes of Angel City’s 1-0 loss to Gotham FC in the Semifinals of the NWSL X Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup.
MILB Baseball:
- Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 3 for 13 with 2 doubles, including this shot off the wall, and 2 runs batted in across the four games he appeared in, all against the Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles AAA Affiliate).
