Q-Collar Week in Review (8/12/24) - Q30

This week, athletes wearing the Q-Collar shined in the greatest moments across sports. Check out some of their highlights below.

 National Football League:

  • Seattle Seahawks Tight End Brady Russell caught 3 passes for 25 yards and a Touchdown in the Seahawks’ 16-3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
  • New York Jets Running Back Braelon Allen rushed for 54 yards on 6 carries, which included this 16 yard gain, in the Jets’ 20-17 preseason victory over the Washington Commanders.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars Tight End Josiah Deguara caught 3 passes for 42 yards, including this 28 yard reception, in the Jaguars’ 26-13 preseason win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
  • On the opposition, Kansas City Chiefs Safety Jaden Hicks made 4 tackles, including this Stop, and 1 tackle-for-loss in the Chiefs’ 26-13 preseason loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hicks’ teammate, Linebacker Drue Tranquill, made 2 tackles in the loss.
  • Tennessee Titans Running Back Tony Pollard rushed for 35 yards on 4 attempts, which included this 24 yard gain, in the Titans’ 17-13 preseason victory over the San Francisco 49ers. 
  • Chicago Bears Running Back Khalil Herbert rushed for 31 yards on 9 attempts in the Bears’ 33-6 preseason win over the Buffalo Bills. 
  • Atlanta Falcons Linebacker JD Bertrand made 4 tackles in the Falcons’ 20-13 preseason loss to the Miami Dolphins.
  • New England Patriots Safety Jaylinn Hawkins made 3 tackles in the Patriots’ 17-3 preseason win over the Carolina Panthers.
  • Minnesota Vikings Cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. made 1 tackle in the Vikings’ 24-23 preseason victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. 

 Premier Lacrosse League:

  • Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Kieran McArdle netted a hat-trick (#1, #2, #3) and tallied an assist in the Waterdogs’ 13-12 overtime loss to the California Redwoods. McArdle’s teammate, Attackman Michael Sowers, Scored a goal and logged 4 assists in the loss. Short Stick Defensive Midfielder Jake Richard caused 1 turnover and recovered 2 ground balls. 
  • For the Redwoods, Attackman Rob Pannell Scored a goal and logged 3 assists in the Redwoods’ 13-12 overtime victory over the Philadelphia Waterdogs. Pannell’s teammate, Midfielder Nakeie Montgomery, also Scored a goal and Logged an assist in the win. 
  • Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill scored 3 total goals (#1, #2, #3) across the Outlaws’ two matchups this week, a 16-9 loss to the Maryland Whipsnakes and a 10-4 win over the Carolina Chaos.
  • Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 16 saves in the Archers’ 15-11 loss to the New York Atlas. Dobson’s teammate, Faceoff Specialist Mike Sisselberger, went 12 for 26 on faceoff attempts and recovered 8 ground balls in the loss.
  • On the other side, New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile scored a goal in the Atlas’ 15-11 victory over the Utah Archers. 
  • Carolina Chaos Defenseman Jack Rowlett and Will Bowen recorded 1 caused turnover apiece and respectively recovered 5 and 3 ground balls in the Chaos’ 10-4 loss to the Denver Outlaws.

MLS Soccer:

  • San Jose Earthquakes Striker Jeremy Ebobisse scored 2 goals (#1, #2) in the Earthquakes’ 5-0 victory over Club Necaxa in the 2024 Leagues Cup. For his performance, Ebobisse was named Man of the Match.

NWSL Soccer:

  • Angel City FC Defender Megan Reid started and played all 90 minutes of Angel City’s 1-0 loss to Gotham FC in the Semifinals of the NWSL X Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup.

MILB Baseball:

  • Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 3 for 13 with 2 doubles, including this shot off the wall, and 2 runs batted in across the four games he appeared in, all against the Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles AAA Affiliate).
