National Football League:
- Tennessee Titans Running Back Tony Pollard rushed for 22 yards and a touchdown on 4 attempts in the Titans’ 19-13 preseason win over the San Francisco 49ers.
- Denver Broncos Linebacker Red Murdock posted a team-high 8 tackles in the Broncos’ 27-7 preseason victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
- On the opposition, Atlanta Falcons Linebacker JD Bertrand tallied 1 tackle, and Running Back Nathan Carter rushed for 8 yards on 6 attempts and caught 1 pass for 3 yards in the Falcons’ 27-7 preseason loss to the Denver Broncos.
- Buffalo Bills Running Back Ray Davis rushed for 21 yards on 3 attempts and caught 4 passes for 32 yards in the Bills’ 29-14 preseason victory over the Carolina Panthers.
- On the opposition, Carolina Panthers Running Back Jonathan Brooks rushed for 5 yards on 3 attempts and caught 1 pass for 9 yards in the Panthers’ 29-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
- Pittsburgh Steelers Running Back Travis Homer rushed for 8 yards on 4 attempts and caught 2 passes for 10 yards in the Steelers’ 28-9 preseason win over the Green Bay Packers. Running Back Kaleb Johnson also rushed for 3 yards on 2 attempts in the win.
- Cincinnati Bengals Linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr. made 1 tackle in the Bengals’ 16-14 preseason win over the Detroit Lions.
- Arizona Cardinals Cornerback Starling Thomas V logged 1 tackle in the Cardinals’ 27-14 preseason win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Premier Lacrosse League:
- Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill logged 1 assist in the Outlaws’ 18-11 loss to the California Redwoods.
- Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Michael Sowers netted 8 goals and tallied 2 assists across the Waterdogs’ two contests this week, an 11-9 win over the New York Atlas and an 18-10 victory over the Maryland Whipsnakes. Attackman Kieran McArdle scored 2 goals and tallied 2 assists across the matches. Attackman Silas Richmond also scored 2 goals, which included his first-ever two-point goal, and logged 1 assist across the contests.
Women’s Lacrosse League:
- Maryland Charm Attacker Sydni Black netted 4 goals, which included a first half hat-trick and one goal that made SportsCenter's Top-10 Plays, and tallied 1 assist in the Charm’s 16-13 win over the California Palms. Black was named Most Valuable Player of the Championship Game. Goaltender Caylee Waters made 8 saves in the win.
MILB Baseball:
- Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays Class AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 1 for 19 at the plate with 2 walks and 1 RBI across the five games he appeared in, all against the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals Class AAA Affiliate).
