This week was yet another week loaded with exciting performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out some of their highlights below.
National Football League:
- Tennessee Titans Running Back Tony Pollard rushed for 17 yards and a touchdown on 5 attempts, and caught 2 passes for 27 yards in the Titans’ 30-27 preseason victory over the New Orleans Saints.
- Kansas City Chiefs Safety Jaden Hicks logged 4 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, 1 pass deflection, and fumble recovery in the Chiefs’ 34-21 preseason loss to the Chicago Bears.
- Los Angeles Rams Linebacker Olakunle Fatukasi logged 8 tackles in the Rams’ 17-15 preseason loss to the Houston Texans.
- Arizona Cardinals Tight End Blake Whiteheart caught 4 passes for 35 yards in the Cardinals’ 38-12 preseason win over the Denver Broncos.
- On the opposition, Chicago Bears Running Back Travis Homer rushed for 13 yards on 4 carries in the Bears’ 34-21 preseason win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
- New England Patriots Safety Jaylinn Hawkins made 2 tackles in the Patriots’ 20-10 preseason loss to the Washington Commanders.
- Carolina Panthers Linebacker Shaq Thompson made 1 tackle in the Panthers’ 31-26 preseason victory over the Buffalo Bills.
NWSL Soccer:
- Angel City FC Defender Megan Reid started and played all 90 minutes of Angel City’s 2-1 victory over San Diego Wave FC. Reid’s teammate, Midfielder Rocky Rodriguez, subbed-in and contributed to Angel City’s offensive and defensive efforts.
- Portland Thorns FC Defender Meghan Klingenberg subbed-in and contributed to Portland’s defensive efforts in their 2-0 loss to Gotham FC.
NCAA Men’s Soccer:
- Michigan State University Forward Jonathan Stout started and contributed to the Spartans’ offensive efforts in their 1-1 draw against Southern Illinois University-Evansville.
MILB Baseball:
- Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 3 for 15 with 3 doubles, including this one to bring home a run, and 1 run batted in across the four games he appeared in, all against the Syracuse Mets (New York Mets AAA Affiliate).
