Q-Collar Week in Review (9/23/24) - Q30

This week was yet another week loaded with exciting performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out some of their highlights below.

National Football League:

  • Tennessee Titans Tight End Nick Vannett made 2 catches for 9 yards and a touchdown in the Titans’ 30-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Vannett’s teammate, Running Back Tony Pollard, rushed for 14 yards on 6 carries in the loss.
  • New York Jets Running Back Braelon Allen rushed for 55 yards on 11 carries in the Jets’ 24-3 victory over the New England Patriots.
  • On the opposition, New England Patriots Safety Jaylinn Hawkins made 3 tackles in the Patriots’ 24-3 loss to the New York Jets.
  • Los Angeles Rams Safety Quentin Lake made a team-high 10 tackles in the Rams’ 27-14 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Lake’s teammate, Tight End Colby Parkinson, made 3 catches for 21 yards in the win.
  • Chicago Bears Safety Jaquan Brisker made 6 tackles in the Bears’ 21-16 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Brisker’s teammate, Running Back Khalil Herbert, rushed for 9 yards on 4 attempts in the loss.
  • Carolina Panthers Linebacker Shaq Thompson made 6 tackles in the Panthers’ 36-22 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
  • Baltimore Ravens Tight End Charlie Kolar made 1 catch for 30 yards in the Ravens’ 28-25 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
  • New York Giants Linebacker Isaiah Simmons made 4 tackles in the Giants’ 21-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
  • Minnesota Vikings Cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. made 4 tackles in the Vikings’ 34-7 win over the Houston Texans.
  • On the other side, Houston Texans Tight End Dalton Schultz made 2 catches for 11 yards in the Texans’ 34-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
  • Los Angeles Chargers Cornerback Elijah Molden made 2 tackles in the Chargers’ 20-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
  • Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker Drue Tranquill made 2 tackles in the Chiefs’ 22-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
  • Atlanta Falcons Linebacker JD Bertrand made 1 total tackle across the Falcons’ two games, a victory over the Philadelphia Eagles and a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

 

NCAA Football:

  • Clemson University Running Back Phil Mafah rushed for 107 yards with a touchdown on 7 attempts, and caught 3 passes for 15 yards in the Tigers’ 59-35 victory over NC State. In the win, Mafah surpassed 2,000 career rushing yards.
  • University of Colorado Safety Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig made a team-high 13 tackles in the Buffaloes’ 38-31 overtime win over Baylor University.
  • On the opposition, Baylor University Defensive Lineman Treven Ma’ae made 3 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, and logged 1 pass deflection in the Bears’ 38-31 overtime loss to the University of Colorado.
  • University of Maryland Linebacker Ruben Hyppolite made a team-high 6 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, in the Terps’ 38-20 win over Villanova University. Hyppolite's teammate, Defensive Back Dante Trader, made 3 tackles in the win.
  • Notre Dame Linebacker Drayk Bowen made 4 tackles, including a sack, in the Fighting Irish’s 28-3 victory over Miami University (OH).
  • Michigan State University Linebacker Jordan Turner made 3 tackles, including a sack, in the Spartans’ 23-19 loss to Boston College. Turner’s teammate, Running Back Nate Carter, rushed for 9 yards on 9 attempts and caught 2 passes for 11 yards in the loss.
  • UCLA Cornerback KJ Wallace made 3 tackles in the Bruins’ 34-17 loss to LSU.
  • Colorado State University Tight End Vince Brown II caught 1 pass for 9 yards in the Rams’ 27-17 win over UTEP.

MLS Soccer:

  • San Jose Earthquakes Striker Jeremy Ebobisse scored a goal in the Earthquakes’ 2-1 loss to St. Louis City SC.
  • FC Dallas Defender Omar Gonzalez started and contributed to FC Dallas’ defensive efforts in their 3-1 win over LAFC.

NWSL Soccer:

  • Bay FC Defender Emily Menges started and played all 90 minutes of their 1-0 loss to the Orlando Pride.
  • Portland Thorns FC Defender Meghan Klingenberg started and contributed to Portland’s defensive efforts in their 3-2 loss to San Diego Wave FC in the Group Stage of the 2024 CONCAF Women’s Champions Cup.

MLB Baseball:

  • Tampa Bay Rays Catcher Logan Driscoll went 1 for 8 across the four games he appeared in, two against the Boston Red Sox and two against the Toronto Blue Jays.
