National Football League:
- Los Angeles Rams Running Back Kyren Williams ran for a total of 173 yards, which included this 31-yard pickup as well as this gain off the spin move, and caught 8 passes for 82 yards, which included this 17-yard grab on the sideline, this 20-yard reception and a touchdown across the Rams’ two contests this week, a win over the New York Giants and a loss to the Denver Broncos. Safety Quentin Lake posted 13 total tackles and 4 total pass deflections across the same stretch. Tight End Colby Parkinson caught 2 total passes for 15 total yards.
- Cincinnati Bengals Linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr. posted a team-high 9 tackles in the Bengals’ 30-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- On the opposition, Pittsburgh Steelers Safety Jaquan Brisker logged 8 tackles in the Steelers’ 30-27 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
- Baltimore Ravens Safety Jaylinn Hawkins tallied 8 tackles in the Ravens’ 34-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
- Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker Drue Tranquill posted 7 tackles, which included 1 tackle-for-loss, in the Chiefs’ 24-10 win over the Miami Dolphins. Safety Jaden Hicks also tallied 7 tackles in the victory.
- Tennessee Titans Running Back Tony Pollard rushed for 74 yards on 17 attempts and caught 4 passes for 22 yards, which included this 17-yard reception, in the Titans’ 12-7 loss to the New York Giants.
- Buffalo Bills Tight End Dalton Kincaid caught 2 passes for 38 yards in the Bills’ 24-16 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
- On the other side, Los Angeles Chargers Safety RJ Mickens recorded 3 tackles in the Chargers’ 24-16 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
- Houston Texans Tight End Dalton Schultz caught 3 passes for 30 yards in the Texans’ 19-17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
- On the opposition, Indianapolis Colts Cornerback Sauce Gardner logged 5 tackles and 2 pass deflections, and Safety Hunter Wohler tallied 4 tackles in the Colts’ 19-17 win over the Houston Texans. Running Back Seth McGowan rushed for 14 yards on 4 attempts.
- Arizona Cardinals Safety Budda Baker logged 4 tackles in the Cardinals’ 36-30 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
- New York Jets Running Back Braelon Allen rushed for 14 yards on 4 attempts and caught 3 passes for 3 yards in the Jets’ 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions.
- Minnesota Vikings Safety Theo Jackson tallied 2 tackles, and Cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. logged 1 tackle in the Vikings’ 23-16 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
NCAA Football:
- Oklahoma State University Linebacker Ethan Wesloski posted a team-high 17 tackles, which included .5 sacks, in the Cowboys’ 41-24 victory over West Virginia University. For his performance, Wesloski was named Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Tight End Carson Kolb caught 1 pass for 7 yards in the win.
- University of Virginia Wide Receiver Josiah Abdullah caught 2 passes for 83 yards, which included this 74-yard touchdown reception, and returned 2 punts for 13 yards in the Cavaliers’ 42-3 win over the University of Delaware.
- Notre Dame Linebacker Drayk Bowen logged 3 tackles, 1 pass deflection and recovered a fumble for a touchdown in the Fighting Irish’s 49-10 victory over Purdue University. Running Back Jonaz Walton rushed for 61 yards on 7 attempts and returned 1 kick for 20 yards in the victory.
- Middle Tennessee State University Quarterback Roman Gagliano completed 18 of 28 passes for 216 yards and 2 touchdowns (#1, #2) in the Blue Raiders’ 23-13 loss to Jacksonville State University. Running Back Cam’Ron Lacy caught 6 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown in the win.
- UNC-Charlotte Linebacker Gavin Willis made a team-high 11 tackles, which included 2.5 tackles-for-loss and .5 sacks, in the 49ers 34-7 loss to the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
- University of Oklahoma Linebacker Owen Heinecke tallied 3 tackles in the Sooners’ 41-13 loss to the University of Georgia.
- University of Arkansas Defensive Back Tay Lockett logged 3 tackles in the Razorbacks’ 34-6 win over the University of Tulsa.
- Marshall University Safety Pete Schuh made 1 tackle in the Thundering Herd’s 36-35 win over Gardner-Webb University.
NCAA Women’s Volleyball:
- Texas A&M Outside Hitter Kyndal Stowers tallied 28 total points with 26 total kills and 11 total digs across the Aggies’ two contests this week, a pair of wins over Rice University and the University of South Carolina.
