This week, athletes wearing the Q-Collar shined in some of the most notable moments in sports! Check out some of their highlights below.

NCAA Football:

  • University of Miami Linebacker Francisco Mauigoa made 6 tackles, including a sack and 1.5 tackles-for-loss, in the Hurricanes’ 41-17 victory over the University of Florida.  For his performance, Mauigoa earned Special Teams Player of the Game.
  • University of Maryland Linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II made 1 tackle and recorded an interception in the Terps’ 50-7 win over UCONN. Hyppolite’s teammate, Defensive Back Dante Trader Jr., made 4 tackles and logged a pass deflection in the win.
  • Notre Dame Defensive Back Jaylen Sneed made 5 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, in the Fighting Irish’ 23-13 victory over Texas A&M University. Linebacker Drayk Bowen made 4 tackles, including this stop, in the win.
  • University of Memphis Linebacker Chandler Martin logged a team-high 8 tackles, including 2.5 tackles-for-loss, in the Tigers’ 40-0 victory over the University of North Alabama. For his performance, Martin was named Whataburger Player of the Game. Martin’s teammate, Linebacker Matt Hudson, logged 2 tackles and an interception in the win.
  • Clemson University Running Back Phil Mafah rushed for 59 yards on 16 attempts in the Tigers’ 34-3 loss to the University of Georgia.
  • Baylor University Linebacker Treven Ma’ae made 2 tackles, including a sack, in the Bears’ 45-3 victory over Tarleton State University. Ma'ae's teammate, Running Back Richard Reese, rushed for 78 yards on 18 attempts in the win Linebacker Kyler Jordan, made 1 tackle.
  • University of Wisconsin Linebacker Jake Chaney made 4 tackles in the Badgers’ 28-14 win over Western Michigan University.
  • Rice University Defensive Back Gabe Taylor logged 5 tackles in Rice’s 34-14 loss to Sam Houston State University.

Premier Lacrosse League:

  • Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill scored 2 goals (#1, #2) in the Outlaws’ 11-10 loss to the Maryland Whipsnakes in the Quarterfinals of the 2024 PLL Playoffs. O’Neill’s teammate, Defenseman Jesse Bernhardt, scored a goal and caused 3 turnovers in the loss.
  • Carolina Chaos Attackman Jules Heningburg scored a goal and logged an assist in the Chaos’ 8-4 win over the Boston Cannons in the Quarterfinals of the 2024 PLL Playoffs. Heningburg’s teammate, Defenseman Will Bowen, caused 1 turnover and recovered 1 ground ball in the win.

NWSL Soccer:

  • Bay FC Defender Emily Menges started and played all 90 minutes of Bay FC’s 3-1 win over Portland Thorns FC.
  • On the opposition, Portland Thorns FC Defender Meghan Klingenberg subbed-in and contributed to Portland’s defensive efforts in their 3-1 loss to Bay FC.

MLB Baseball:

  • Pittsburgh Pirates Catcher Henry Davis went 1 for 12 with 1 runner caught stealing across the five games he appeared in this week against the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Guardians.

MILB Baseball:

  • Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 7 for 9, which included a five-hit game, across the two games he appeared in, both against the Buffalo Bisons (Toronto Blue Jays AAA Affiliate). For his performance, Driscoll was called-up to the Tampa Bay Rays.
