Q-Collar Week in Review (9/8/25) - Q30

As the National Football League season kicked off, athletes wearing the Q-Collar produced high-impact performances across the sports world’s biggest competitions. Check out their highlights below.

National Football League:

  • Buffalo Bills Tight End Dalton Kincaid caught 4 passes for 48 yards and a touchdown in the Bills’ 41-40 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
  • New York Jets Running Back Braelon Allen rushed for 9 yards and a touchdown on 6 attempts in the Jets’ 34-32 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Allen’s teammate, Cornerback Sauce Gardner, logged 2 tackles and 2 pass deflections in the loss.
  • New England Patriots Safety Jaylinn Hawkins made 5 tackles, which included a sack and 2 tackles-for-loss, to go along with an interception in the Patriots’ 20-13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
  • Cincinnati Bengals Linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr. made 10 tackles and recorded 1 pass deflection in the Bengals’ 17-16 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Knight Jr.’s teammate, Linebacker Logan Wilson, added 7 tackles and logged 2 pass deflections in the win.
  • Tennessee Titans Running Back Tony Pollard rushed for 60 yards on 18 attempts, and caught 1 pass for 29 yards in the Titans’ 20-12 loss to the Denver Broncos.
  • Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker Drue Tranquill made 5 tackles, 2 of them being sacks including this stop off the blitz, in the Chiefs’ 27-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Tranquill’s teammate, Safety Jaden Hicks, added 4 tackles in the loss.
  • On the opposition, Los Angeles Chargers Cornerback Elijah Molden made 4 tackles in the Chargers’ 27-21 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers Safety Antoine Winfield Jr. made 4 tackles and added 1 pass deflection in the Buccaneers’ 23-20 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Winfield Jr.’s teammate, Wide Receiver Sterling Shepard caught 3 passes for 39 yards.
  • Houston Texans Tight End Dalton Schultz caught 3 passes for 28 yards in the Texans’ 14-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
  • On the opposition, Los Angeles Rams Safety Quentin Lake made 2 tackles in the Rams’ 14-9 win over the Houston Texans.

NCAA Football:

  • University of Kentucky Running Back Seth McGowan rushed for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns (#1, #2) and caught 1 pass for 5 yards in the Wildcats’ 30-23 loss to the University of Mississippi.
  • University of Oklahoma Linebacker Owen Heinecke made a team-high 7 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, and logged 1 pass deflection in the Sooners’ 24-13 win over the University of Michigan.
  • Middle Tennessee State University Defensive Tackle Damonte Smith logged 3 tackles, which included 1.5 tackles-for-loss, and an interception in the Blue Raiders’ 42-10 loss to the University of Wisconsin. Running Back Jekail Middlebrook rushed for 27 yards on 12 attempts and caught 5 passes for 36 yards in the loss. Linebacker Parker Hughes made 5 tackles, which included 0.5 tackles-for-loss, and Safety Rickey Smith made 2 tackles.
  • On the opposition, University of Wisconsin Safety Austin Brown made 2 tackles in the Badgers’ 42-10 win over Middle Tennessee State University.

MLS Soccer:

  • LA Galaxy Defender Chris Rindov started and played all 90 minutes in LA’s 1-1 draw against Houston Dynamo FC.
  • Chicago Fire FC Defender Omar Gonzalez subbed-in and contributed to Chicago’s defensive efforts in their 3-2 win over the New England Revolution.

MILB Baseball:

  • Columbus Clingstones (Atlanta Braves AA Affiliate) Catcher Dylan Shockley went 2 for 8 with 2 walks across the three contests he appeared in, all against the Montgomery Biscuits (Tampa Bay Rays AA Affiliate).

NCAA Women’s Volleyball:

  • Southern Methodist University Opposite Hitter Jadyn Livings recorded 42.5 total points, which included 39 total kills, across the Mustangs’ three matches this week, a trio of victories over the University of Washington, University of Northern Iowa and Stony Brook University. Livings’ teammate, Opposite Hitter Malaya Jones, logged 36 total points and 32 total kills across the same stretch.
  • Texas A&M University Outside Hitter Kyndal Stowers tallied 26 total points, which included 22 total kills, across the Aggies’ two contests, a pair of victories over the University of Utah and Utah State University.
  • Rice University Defensive Specialist Gabby Mansfield recorded 36 total digs and 2 total points across the Owls’ three contests, a pair of losses to the University of Texas and Baylor University, and a win over Saint Mary’s University (CA).
