Q-Collar Week in Review (8/19/24) - Q30

This week was yet another exciting week loaded with high-impact performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out some of their highlights below.

National Football League:

  • Houston Texans Tight End Dalton Schultz caught 3 passes for 39 yards in the Texans’ 28-10 preseason victory over the New York Giants.
  • On the opposition, New York Giants Linebacker Isaiah Simmons made 3 tackles in the loss.
  • Kansas City Chiefs Safety Jaden Hicks made 6 tackles and logged 1 pass deflection in the Chiefs’ 24-23 preseason loss to the Detroit Lions.
  • Chicago Bears Running Back Khalil Herbert rushed for 31 yards on 5 carries, which included this 21-yard pickup, in the Bears’ 27-3 preseason victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Herbert’s teammate, Running Back Travis Homer, rushed for 3 yards on 4 attempts in the win.
  • Seattle Seahawks Tight End Brady Russell caught 2 passes for 22 yards in the Seahawks’ 16-15 preseason loss to the Tennessee Titans.
  • Atlanta Falcons Linebacker JD Bertrand made 5 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, in the Falcons’ 13-12 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
  • On the opposition, Baltimore Ravens Tight End Charlie Kolar caught 1 pass for 6 yards in the win.
  • New York Jets Running Back Braelon Allen rushed for 27 yards on 8 attempts in the Jets’ 15-12 preseason victory over the Carolina Panthers.
  • New England Patriots Safety Jaylinn Hawkins made 2 tackles in the Patriots’ 14-13 preseason loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
  • Buffalo Bills Safety Taylor Rapp made 1 tackle in the Bills’ 9-3 preseason victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Premier Lacrosse League:

  • Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Kieran McArdle netted a hat-trick, which included his 300th career goal and his 22nd goal of the season, breaking the Waterdogs' single-season record, in the Waterdogs’ 13-12 victory over the New York Atlas. McArdle also recorded an assist. McArdle’s teammate, Attackman Michael Sowers, scored 2 goals (#1 & #2) and logged an assist in the win.
  • On the opposition, New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile scored 2 goals, including this snipe from deep, in the loss.
  • Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman scored 4 goals, including this finish through traffic and this one-timer on the doorstep, in the Cannons’ 11-10 overtime victory over the Carolina Chaos. In the victory, Holman gained sole possession of 6th all-time in career points.
  • On the opposition, Carolina Chaos Attackman Jules Heningburg recorded an assist in the loss. Heningburg’s teammate, Defenseman Will Bowen, logged 1 caused turnover and recovered 3 ground balls.
  • Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 24 total saves across the Archers’ two matchups this week, a pair of victories over the California Redwoods and the Denver Outlaws. Dobson’s teammate, Faceoff Specialist Mike Sisselberger, went 28 for 46 on total faceoff attempts and recovered 21 total ground balls across the two contests.
  • California Redwoods Midfielder Nakeie Montgomery recorded 1 assist in the Redwoods’ 13-12 overtime loss to the Utah Archers.

NWSL Soccer:

  • Angel City FC Defender Megan Reid scored a goal in Angel City’s 7-0 club friendly victory over FC Juárez (Liga MX Femenil). Reid’s teammate, Midfielder Rocky Rodriguez, logged an assist on Reid’s goal.

MILB Baseball:

  • Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 6 for 19 with a home run, a double and 3 runs batted in across the five games he appeared in, all against the Nashville Sounds (Milwaukee Brewers AAA Affiliate).
