Two-time NCAA All-American, World Champion with Team USA and 2020 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) Entry Draft 2nd overall pick Jesse Bernhardt is committed to excellence both on and off the field. One of lacrosse’s most elite defensemen, Jesse ranks amongst the University of Maryland’s most decorated players and is going into his ninth professional season.
Now a member of the PLL’s Chrome and the Defensive Coordinator for the University of Maryland Men’s Lacrosse team, Bernhardt is a role model for the next generation of lacrosse athletes. After the 2021 PLL season, Bernhardt elaborated on what wearing the Q-Collar means to him and the importance of taking the necessary precautions to protect yourself for success both on and off the field.
“I’m at the point in my career where I’ll do anything that will either help me be better as a player and/or keep my career going. The Q-Collar is just another piece of equipment keeping me healthy and on the field. I’m taking care of my body, my brain, because I want to successful in my future once lacrosse is over.
As a coach, it’s our responsibility to look out for our players and I think the Q-Collar falls into that realm. Anything that is going to keep my players that I coach safe will definitely always be at the forefront of what I do.”
You can see the Q-Collar in action this PLL season when Bernhardt, Michael Sowers, Marcus Holman, Jack Rowlett and other athletes across the league are wearing the product as an added layer of protection. The Q-Collar is a Proud Partner of the Premier Lacrosse League.
