This week was loaded with key performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out their highlights below.
National Football League:
- Chicago Bears Running Back Khalil Herbert rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown on 18 attempts in the Bears’ 37-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Herbert’s teammate, Safety Jaquan Brisker, made 5 tackles.
- Baltimore Ravens Tight End Charlie Kolar caught 1 pass, a 19-yard touchdown, in the Ravens’ 56-19 win over the Miami Dolphins. That grab was his first touchdown of his NFL career.
- Buffalo Bills Tight End Dalton Kincaid caught 4 passes for 87 yards in the Bills’ 27-21 victory over the New England Patriots. Kincaid’s teammate, Safety Taylor Rapp, made 1 tackle.
- Dallas Cowboys Running Back Tony Pollard rushed for 49 yards on 16 attempts in the Cowboys’ 20-19 win over the Detroit Lions.
- New York Giants Linebacker Isaiah Simmons made 4 tackles, including a sack, in the Giants’ 26-25 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
- For the Rams, Safety Quentin Lake made 5 tackles in the win.
- Arizona Cardinals Safety Budda Baker made 4 tackles, including 2 tackles-for-loss, in the Cardinals’ 35-31 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
- Tennessee Titans Running Back Derrick Henry rushed for 42 yards on 12 attempts in the Titans’ 26-3 loss to the Houston Texans. Henry’s teammate, Wide Receiver Treylon Burks, caught 2 passes for 11 yards.
- On the other side, Houston Texans Tight End Dalton Schultz caught 2 passes for 19 yards in the win.
- Seattle Seahawks Tight End Colby Parkinson caught 2 passes for 38 yards in the Seahawks’ 30-23 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- Green Bay Packers Running Back Patrick Taylor rushed for 30 yards on 8 attempts in the Packers’ 33-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
- Cincinnati Bengals Linebacker Logan Wilson and Defensive End Sam Hubbard made 5 tackles apiece in the Bengals’ 25-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
- For the Chiefs, Linebacker Drue Tranquill made 1 tackle in the win.
- Cleveland Browns Safety Juan Thornhill made 4 tackles in the Browns’ 37-20 victory over the New York Jets.
- Indianapolis Colts Linebacker Segun Olubi made 3 tackles in the Colts’ 23-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
NCAA Football:
- Clemson University Running Back Phil Mafah rushed for 71 yards and 4 touchdowns, including the game-winner, in the Tigers’ 38-35 victory over the University of Kentucky in the 2023 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. For his performance, Mafah was named the MVP of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. Mafah’s teammate, fellow Running Back Will Shipley, rushed for 29 yards on 11 attempts in the win.
- University of Wyoming Tight End Treyton Welch caught 4 passes for 22 yards in the Cowboys’ 16-15 win over the University of Toledo in the 2023 Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl.
- Notre Dame Linebacker JD Bertrand made 1 tackle in the Fighting Irish’s 40-8 victory over Oregon State University in the 2023 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl.
NCAA Hockey:
- UMASS-Amherst Defenseman Elliott McDermott recorded 1 blocked shot across the Minutemen’s two games, a 3-2 shootout loss to Cornell University and a 5-4 overtime loss to Clarkson University.
