Q-Collar Week in Review (11/27/23) - Q30

This week, athletes wearing the Q-Collar shined in some of the biggest moments , including in all three Thanksgiving NFL matchups. Check out some of their highlights below.

National Football League:

  • Dallas Cowboys Running Back Tony Pollard rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on 13 attempts in the Cowboys’ 45-10 Thanksgiving victory over the Washington Commanders.
  • Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker Drue Tranquill made 15 total tackles, including 3 tackles-for-loss, across the Chiefs’ two games this week, a 21-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and a 31-17 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
  • Cincinnati Bengals Linebacker Logan Wilson made a team-high 10 tackles in the Bengals’ 16-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers Safety Antoine Winfield Jr. made a team-high 10 tackles and recorded 1 pass deflection in the Buccaneers’ 27-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Winfield Jr.’s teammate, Wide Receiver Chris Godwin, caught 3 passes for 45 yards in the loss.
  • On the other side, Indianapolis Colts Running Back Zack Moss rushed for 55 yards on 8 attempts in the win.
  • Arizona Cardinals Safety Budda Baker made a team-high 9 tackles in the Cardinals’ 37-14 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Baker’s teammate, Defensive End Ben Stille, made 2 tackles in the loss.
  • Buffalo Bills Tight End Dalton Kincaid caught 5 passes for 38 yards in the Bills’ 37-34 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
  • Philadelphia Eagles Running Back Boston Scott rushed for 22 total yards on 4 attempts across the Eagles’ two games this week, a pair of victories over the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
  • New York Giants Linebacker Isaiah Simmons made 3 tackles in the Giants’ 10-7 victory over the New England Patriots.
  • San Francisco 49ers Wide Receiver Jauan Jennings caught 1 pass for 7 yards in the 49ers’ 31-13 Thanksgiving victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
  • On the opposition, Seattle Seahawks Tight End Colby Parkinson caught 1 pass for 9 yards in the loss.
  • Los Angeles Chargers Safety Jaylinn Hawkins made 3 tackles in the Chargers’ 20-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
  • New York Jets Safety Adrian Amos made 2 tackles in the Jets’ 34-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
  • Green Bay Packers Running Back Patrick Taylor was Collared Up for the first time, rushing for 11 yards on 3 attempts and catching 1 pass for 4 yards in the Packers’ 29-22 Thanksgiving victory over the Detroit Lions.
  • On the opposition, Detroit Lions Linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez was Collared Up for the first time and even contributed on offense, catching 1 pass for 6 yards in the loss.
  • Houston Texans Tight End Dalton Schultz caught 1 pass for 2 yards in the Texans’ 24-21 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Schultz’s teammate, Fullback Andrew Beck, caught 1 pass for 1 yard in the loss.

NCAA Football:

  • SMU Quarterback Preston Stone completed 14 of 19 passes for 322 yards and 3 touchdowns (#1, #2, #3) in the Mustangs’ 59-14 victory over Navy. Stone’s 275 first quarter passing yards was an FBS season-high. Stone’s teammate, Safety Will Goldberg, made 2 tackles in the win. With the victory, SMU earned a berth to the 2023 AAC Championship Game against Tulane.
  • University of Wisconsin Running Back Braelon Allen rushed for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns (#1 & #2) and caught 3 passes for 27 yards in the Badgers’ 28-14 victory over the University of Minnesota.
  • Washington State University Safety Jaden Hicks made 4 tackles, including a sack, and made this spectacular interception in the Cougars’ 24-21 loss to the University of Washington in the 2023 Boeing Apple Cup Game.
  • Notre Dame Linebacker JD Bertrand made a team-high 6 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, in the Fighting Irish’s 56-23 victory over Stanford University.
  • Tulane University Quarterback Michael Pratt completed 9 of 22 passes for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns, including this score, and rushed for 50 yards on 10 attempts in the Green Wave’s 29-16 victory over the University of Texas-San Antonio. With the win, Tulane clinched a berth into the 2023 AAC Championship Game against SMU.
  • University of Nebraska Linebacker Luke Reimer made 10 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, in the Cornhuskers’ 13-10 loss to the University of Iowa.
  • Clemson University Running Back Phil Mafah rushed for 89 yards on 19 attempts in the Tigers’ 16-17 victory over the University of South Carolina in the 2023 Palmetto Bowl. Fellow Clemson University Running Back Will Shipley rushed for 80 yards on 15 attempts in the win.
  • James Madison University Wide Receiver Phoenix Sproles caught 11 passes for 99 yards in the Dukes’ 56-14 victory over Coastal Carolina University.
  • Boston College Linebacker Vinny DePalma made 4 tackles in the Eagles’ 45-20 loss to the University of Miami.

NCAA Hockey:

  • UMASS-Amherst Defenseman Elliott McDermott recorded 1 shot-on-goal in the Minutemen’s 6-5 victory over Harvard University.
