Q-Collar Week in Review (2/10/25) - Q30

This week, athletes wearing the Q-Collar shined in the biggest moments across sports. Check out some of their highlights below.

 

National Football League:

  • Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker Drue Tranquill made a team-high 11 tackles, including a sack and 2 tackles-for-loss, in the Chiefs’ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. Tranquill’s teammate, Safety Jaden Hicks, added 4 tackles in the loss.

NCAA Men’s Lacrosse:

  • Air Force Attackman Josh Yago scored a goal and logged 2 assists in the Falcons’ 14-8 loss to the University of Denver.
  • Stony Brook Attackman Justin Bonacci scored a goal in the Seawolves’ 9-8 win over Rutgers University.
  • Bellarmine University Defenseman Matt Kirton scored a goal, recovered 5 ground balls and caused 1 turnover in the Knights 21-11 victory over Mercyhurst University.
  • Iona University Attackman Francesco Raso logged 1 total assist and recovered 1 total ground ball across the Gael’s two matchups this week, a loss to Navy and a win over Hampton University.
  • Hampton University Defenseman Zion Garcia recovered 2 ground balls and caused 1 turnover in the Pirates’ 13-9 loss to Iona University.

NCAA Women’s Lacrosse:

  • University of South Florida Attacker Sofia Chepnik netted 4 goals, including these two finishes (#1 & #2) in the Bulls’ 19-6 victory over Kennesaw State University, the first in program history.
  • University of Florida Goaltender Georgia Hoey made 14 total saves and picked up two wins across the Gators’ two contests this week, a pair of victories over Johns Hopkins University and Kennesaw State University
  • Johns Hopkins University Attacker Charlotte Smith logged an assist in the Blue Jays’ 12-11 loss to the University of Florida.

National Lacrosse League:

  • Philadelphia Wings Forward Michael Sowers made his NLL debut, scoring 2 goals (#1 & #2) and recorded an assist in the Wings’ 14-10 loss to the Halifax Thunderbirds. Sowers’ teammate, Forward Brennan O’Neill, added a highlight reel goal and 3 assists in the loss.

NCAA Women’s Basketball:

  • Middle Tennessee State University Forward Elina Arike logged 5 total rebounds across the Blue Raiders’ two matchups this week, a pair of victories over Jacksonville State University and Kennesaw State University.

Pro Volleyball Federation:

  • Indy Ignite Middle Blocker Lydia Martyn logged 2 total points and 1 total kill across the Ignite’s two contests this week, a pair of losses to the Omaha Supernovas and the Orlando Valkyries.
