Q-Collar Week in Review (3/31/25) - Q30

This week, athletes wearing the Q-Collar produced high-impact performances across the sports landscape. Check out some of their highlights below.

NCAA Men’s Lacrosse:

  • Princeton University Attackman Colin Burns netted a hat-trick, including this score off a backhand crease-catch, and logged 1 assist in the Tigers’ 11-8 victory over Dartmouth College.
  • On the opposition, Dartmouth College Attackman Alex Jessey scored 2 goals (#1, #2) in the Big Green’s 11-8 loss to Princeton University.
  • University of Albany Attackman Silas Richmond netted a hat-trick, which included his 100th career goal, and logged 3 assists in the Great Danes’ 17-6 win over UMASS-Lowell. Richmond’s teammate, Defenseman Max Neeson, added a goal in the win.
  • Cornell University Attackman Ryan Goldstein netted 2 goals, including this snipe (slide #3), and logged 2 assists in the Big Red’s 15-5 victory over UPENN.
  • On the opposition, UPENN Defenseman Tyler Kuehl recovered 2 ground balls and caused 2 turnovers in the Quakers’ 15-5 loss to Cornell University.
  • St. Bonaventure University Attackman Patrick Shanahan netted 2 total goals, including this finish off a turnover, across the Bonnies’ two matchups this week, a pair of losses to Binghamton University and the University of Richmond. Shanahan’s teammate, Midfielder Drew Kenney, scored 1 total goal and logged 1 total assist across the two contests, and Attackman Conor Murphy added 1 total goal across the same stretch.
  • Brown University Midfielder Ben Scandone scored a goal and logged an assist in the Bears’ 15-12 loss to Yale University. Attackman Luke Dellicicchi also scored a goal in the loss.
  • Marquette University Midfielder Will Foster logged 1 assist in the Golden Eagles’ 13-8 win over St. John’s University.

NCAA Women’s Lacrosse:

  • Mercer University Attacker Sofia D’Angelo scored 5 total goals, which included this behind-the-back finish, and logged 4 total assists across the Bears’ two contests this week, a loss to Jacksonville University and a win over Wofford College.
  • University of South Florida Attacker Sofia Chepenik netted a hat-trick (#1, #2, #3) and logged 1 assist in the Bulls’ 17-7 victory over Vanderbilt University.
  • Arizona State University Goalkeeper Katie Vahle made 24 total saves across the Sun Devils’ two contests this week, a loss to Marquette University and a win over the University of Cincinnati. In the loss to Marquette, Vahle became the ASU’s all-time saves leader.
  • University of Florida Goalkeeper Georgia Hoey made 11 total saves and picked up 1 win across the Gators’ two contests this week, a pair of victories over UPENN and UC-Davis.

NLL Lacrosse:

  • Philadelphia Wings Forward Brennan O’Neill scored a goal and added 1 assist in the Wings’ 13-5 loss to the Ottawa Black Bears.

Pro Volleyball Federation:

  • Indy Ignite Middle Blocker Lydia Martyn recorded 13 points in the Ignite’s 3-2 set victory over the Orlando Valkyries.
