Premier Lacrosse League:

  • Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman scored a hat-trick, which included this score off a one-timer and this finish on the doorstep, in the Cannons’ 15-12 win over the California Redwoods. In the victory, Holman moved into 5th Place in All-Time Career Points.
  • Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill netted two goals, a one-handed finish as well as this snipe on the run, and tallied 1 assist in the Outlaws’ 13-7 win over the Maryland Whipsnakes.
  • Carolina Chaos Midfielder Chad Palumbo logged 2 goals, which included this score on the doorstep, and 1 assist in the Chaos’ 14-13 overtime loss to the California Redwoods.
  • Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Michael Sowers tallied 3 assists in the Waterdogs’ 11-10 win over the Utah Archers. In the victory, Sowers notched his 200th career point. Attackman Kieran McArdle added 1 assist in the contest, and Defenseman Kenny Brower caused 1 turnover and recovered 1 ground ball.
  • On the opposition, Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 13 saves in the Archers’ 11-10 loss to the Philadelphia Waterdogs.

Women’s Lacrosse League:

  • New York Charging Midfielder Emily Hawryschuk scored a goal in the Charging’s 16-9 loss to the California Palms.

MILB Baseball:

  • Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays Class AAA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 3 for 17 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI’s and 3 Walks in the five contests he appeared in this week, all against the Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles Class AAA Affiliate).
