This week saw some notable performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar and the return of the Premier Lacrosse League season! Check out some of the highlights below.

Premier Lacrosse League:

  • Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman scored 2 goals, including this top-corner snipe, in the Cannons’ 19-12 loss to the New York Atlas. Holman’s teammate, Attackman Pat Kavanagh, recorded an assist in the loss.
  • Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Kieran McArdle scored a goal and logged an assist in the Waterdogs’ 12-11 loss to the Utah Archers. McArdle’s teammate, Attackman Michael Sowers, also netted a goal and logged 2 assists in the loss.
  • On the other side, Utah Archers Goalie Brett Dobson made 22 saves, including these game-saving stops, in the win.
  • Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill scored his first goal of his PLL career, and recorded an assist in the Outlaws’ 16-11 loss to the Carolina Chaos.
  • On the other side, Carolina Chaos Defenseman Jack Rowlett scored a goal and caused 2 turnovers in the win. Rowlett’s teammate, Attackman Jules Heningburg, also scored a goal and recorded an assist. Defenseman Will Bowen recovered 2 ground balls.
  • New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile netted 1 total goal across the Atlas’ two games, a pair of victories over the Boston Cannons and the Maryland Whipsnakes.

NCAA Men’s Lacrosse:

MLS Soccer:

  • FC Dallas Defender Omar Gonzalez started and played all 90 minutes of their 1-0 loss to LAFC.
  • San Jose Earthquakes Striker Jeremy Ebobisse started and played all 90 minutes of their 5-1 loss to NYCFC.

FIFA Women’s Soccer International Friendlies:

  • Costa Rica Midfielder Rocky Rodriguez started and played all 90 minutes of their 2-0 loss to Argentina.
