Premier Lacrosse League:
- Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill netted a hat-trick (#1, #2, #3) and tallied 2 assists in the Outlaws’ 15-13 loss to the Boston Cannons.
- On the opposition, Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman scored a one-point goal and a two-point goal in the Cannons’ 15-13 win over the Denver Outlaws.
- Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Michael Sowers netted a hat-trick, which included these two unassisted finishes (#1, #2) and logged 2 assists in the Waterdogs’ 15-13 win over the California Redwoods. Attackman Kieran McArdle also contributed 2 goals, which included this finish off the one-timer, and tallied 1 assist in the victory. Attackman Silas Richmond also scored his first goal of his PLL career in the contest.
- Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 9 saves in the Archers’ 16-5 victory over the New York Atlas.
- On the other side, New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile scored a goal in the Atlas’ 15-5 loss to the Utah Archers.
- Carolina Chaos Midfielder Chad Palumbo scored a goal and tallied 1 assist in the Chaos’ 17-10 loss to the Maryland Whipsnakes.
Women’s Lacrosse League:
- Maryland Charm Attacker Sydni Black netted 2 goals, which included this highlight reel finish, and tallied 1 assist in the Charm’s 16-15 win over the New York Charging. Goaltender Caylee Waters made 2 saves in the win.
- On the opposition, New York Charging Midfielder Emily Hawryschuk scored a goal and tallied 1 assist in the Charging’s 15-16 loss to the Maryland Charm.
MILB Baseball:
- Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays Class AAA) Affiliate Catcher Logan Driscoll went 2 for 11 at the plate with a double and 2 RBI’s across the three contests he appeared in this week, all against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Miami Marlins Class AAA Affiliate).
