Q-Collar Week in Review (7/22/24) - Q30

It was a big week for athletes wearing the Q-Collar! Check out some of their highlights below.


Premier Lacrosse League

  • Utah Archers Faceoff Specialist Mike Sisselberger went 17-25 on faceoff attempts in the Archers’ 15-8 win against the Redwoods. His teammate, Goalie Brett Dobson made 10 saves in the win.
  • Philadelphia Waterdogs Midfielder Zach Currier recorded 2 goals, one being a 2 point goal, in the Waterdogs’ 13-15 loss to the Denver Outlaws. His teammate Connor Kelly scored 3 goals, including this silky fake dodge and had an assist. Attackman Michael Sowers recorded 2 goals and 3 assists, including this one, and Attackman Kieran McArdle scored 2 goals in the loss. Midfielder Mikie Schlosser scored a goal in his first game back in nearly 2 seasons.

  • On the other side, Denver Outlaws’ Attackman Brennan O’Neill had 3 goals including this bounce shot along with an assist in the Outlaws’ 15-13 win.
  • New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile had 2 goals and 2 assists in the Atlas' 17-12 loss to the Boston Cannons.
  • California Redwoods Attackman Rob Pannell scored 4 goals, including this highlight goal as well as this stylish finish. Pannell also had 1 assist in the Redwoods’ 15-8 loss to the Archers. 
  • Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman recorded two 1 point goals along with one 2 point goal and an assist leading the Cannons to a 17-12 victory against the Atlas.
  • Carolina Chaos Attackman Jules Heningburg scored 2 goals including this shifty finish along with an assist in the Chaos’ hard fought 10-9 overtime victory over the Whipsnakes. Heningburg’s teammate, Will Bowen, recorded one ground ball in the OT win.

Major League Soccer (MLS)

  • San Jose Earthquakes Striker Jeremy Ebobisse started for the Earthquakes and supported their offense in a 2-0 loss to Minnesota United FC.
  • FC Dallas Defender Omar Gonzalez subbed in for Dallas and contributed to their 3-1 win over Austin FC
  • Sporting Kansas City Defender Christopher Rindov started and played a role in their 3-1 victory over St. Louis City FC

National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL)

  • Angel City FC and Costa Rica Women’s National Team Defender Rocky RodrĂ­guez started in Costa Rica’s friendly game against the U.S Women’s National Team which ended in a 0-0 draw. Rocky was named captain of the Costa Rica National Team for the game.

Minor League Baseball (MiLB)

  • Durham Bulls’ Catcher Logan Driscoll was a big roleplayer for the Bulls going 3 for 7 with 2 runs including 1 home run in their two losses this week.
