Premier Lacrosse League:
- Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill scored 4 goals (#1, #2, #3, #4) in the Outlaws’ 15-10 win over the Utah Archers. O’Neill’s teammate, Faceoff Specialist Luke Wierman, added an assist in the victory. Defenseman Jesse Bernhardt caused 1 turnover and recovered 2 ground balls.
- Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Kieran McArdle scored 2 goals (#1, #2) and logged 4 assists in the Waterdogs’ 15-14 overtime loss to the Carolina Chaos. With his second goal of the contest, McArdle moved into 5th Place in All-Time Career Goals. McArdle’s teammate, Midfielder Connor Kelly, netted a two-point goal and added 2 assists in the loss. Attackman Michael Sowers logged 2 assists and became the ninth player to ever to log 20+ assists in a season.
- On the opposition, Carolina Chaos Defenseman Jack Rowlett logged 1 caused turnover in the Chaos’ 15-14 overtime win over the Philadelphia Waterdogs.
- New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile scored a goal and added an assist in the Atlas’ 11-8 victory over the Maryland Whipsnakes.
- California Redwoods Midfielder Romar Dennis tallied one goal, a two-point score, in the Redwoods’ 9-8 win over the Utah Archers.
- Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 29 total saves across the Archers’ two contests, a pair of losses to the California Redwoods and Denver Outlaws.
Major League Soccer:
- LAFC Striker Jeremy Ebobisse subbed-in and contributed to LAFC’s offensive efforts in their 1-0 loss to the Portland Timbers.
- Chicago Fire FC Defender Omar Gonzalez subbed-in and contributed to Chicago’s defensive efforts in their 1-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls.
MILB Baseball:
- Columbus Clingstones (Atlanta Braves AA Affiliate) Catcher Dylan Shockley went 1 for 8 with 2 walks across the 3 games he appeared in, all against the Chattanooga Lookouts (Cincinnati Reds AA Affiliate).
