Premier Lacrosse League
- Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman put on a performance in the Cannons’ 12-10 win against the Denver Outlaws with 3 goals including this stylish finish and 1 assist. Attackman Pat Kavanagh is back from injury and recorded this goal in the win.
- Carolina Chaos Attackman Jules Heningburg had 1 goal in their 8-10 loss to the Redwoods.
- Denver Outlaws Attackman Brennan O’Neill had a great week with 2 goals, one being a hard-fought 2 point goal and 2 assists in the Outlaws' 10-12 loss to the Boston Cannons. Defenseman Jesse Bernhardt had 1 caused turnover.
- New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile recorded 1 goal and an assist in the Atlas’ tight 12-11 victory over the Philadelphia Waterdogs.
- Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Kieran McArdle recorded 1 goal in the Waterdogs' loss to the New York Atlas. Attackman Michael Sowers also had 1 highlight goal. Midfielder Jake Richard had 1 caused turnover and Midfielder Zach Currier had 1 assist in the loss.Â
- California Redwoods Attackman Rob Pannell scored 1 goal in California’s 10-8 win against the Carolina Chaos, as well as a goal and 3 assists, including this behind the back assist, in the Redwoods' 13-18 loss to the Maryland Whipsnakes. With his goal against the Whipsnakes, Pannell became the 3rd person in professional lacrosse history to tally 600 career points. Congrats Rob!
Major League Soccer
- San Jose Earthquakes’ Forward Jeremy Ebobisse started and played a big role in San Jose’s nail-biting penalty victory over Guadalajara in the Leagues Cup. He scored one goal in the win.
Minor League Baseball
- Durham Bulls’ Catcher Logan Driscoll went 5 for 19 this week along with 2 runs, one being a home run and 1 RBI in their 6 games against the Gwinnett Stripers.
