Premier Lacrosse League:
- Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Kieran McArdle netted a hat-trick, which included these two scores (#1, #2), and logged 2 assists in the Waterdogs’ 20-19 loss to the New York Atlas. McArdle’s teammate, Midfielder Connor Kelly netted 2 one-point goals (#1, #2) and 1 two-point goal in the win. Attackman Michael Sowers, added 2 goals (#1, #2) and an assist. Defenseman Kenny Brower caused 1 turnover and recovered 2 ground balls.
- On the opposition, New York Atlas Midfielder Bryan Costabile netted a two-point goal along with a one-point goal, and logged an assist in the Atlas’ 20-19 win over the Philadelphia Waterdogs.
- Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman netted 3 total goals, a two-point goal and 2 one-point goals, including this score, across the Cannons’ two contests, a pair of losses to the California Redwoods and Maryland Whipsnakes.
- Utah Archers Goaltender Brett Dobson made 15 saves in the Archers’ 11-10 victory over the Carolina Chaos.

- Tennessee Titans Running Back Tony Pollard rushed for 9 yards and a touchdown on 4 attempts in the Titans’ 29-7 preseason loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- Los Angeles Chargers Safety RJ Mickens made 8 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, and logged 1 pass deflection in the Chargers’ 27-13 preseason victory over the New Orleans Saints.
- Chicago Bears Linebacker Ruben Hyppolite made a team-high 6 tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, in the Bears’ 24-24 preseason tie with the Miami Dolphins. Hyppolite’s teammate, Linebacker Swayze Bozeman, made 3 tackles in the tie. Running Back Travis Homer rushed for 6 yards on 2 attempts and caught 2 passes for 15 yards in the win.
- On the opposition, Miami Dolphins Defensive Tackle Ben Stille made 1 tackle in the Dolphins’ 24-24 preseason time with the Chicago Bears.
- Dallas Cowboys Running Back Phil Mafah rushed for 36 yards on 10 attempts and caught 2 passes for 15 yards in the Cowboys’ 31-21 preseason loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

- Columbus Clingstones (Atlanta Braves AA Affiliate) Catcher Dylan Shockley went 2 for 9 with a double, 1 run scored and 1 run batted in across the three games he appeared in, all against the Rocket City Trash Pandas (Los Angeles Angels AA Affiliate).
