National Football League: 

  • Atlanta Falcons Running Back Nathan Carter Jr. rushed for 10 yards on 4 attempts in the Falcons’ 31-13 preseason loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Carter Jr.’s teammate, Linebacker JD Bertrand, added 2 tackles in the loss. 
  • On the opposition, Dallas Cowboys Running Back Phil Mafah rushed for 16 yards and a touchdown on 2 attempts in the Cowboys’ 31-13 preseason win over the Atlanta Falcons. 
  • Los Angeles Chargers Safety RJ Mickens made 2 tackles in the Chargers’ 30-23 preseason loss to the San Francisco 49ers. 
  • Chicago Bears Linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II made 5 tackles in the Bears’ 29-27 preseason win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Hyppolite II’s teammate, Linebacker Swayze Bozeman, made 1 tackle in the win. 
  • On the opposition, Kansas City Chiefs Safety Jaden Hicks made 4 tackles in the Chiefs’ 29-27 preseason loss to the Chicago Bears. 
  • Miami Dolphins Defensive End Ben Stille recorded 1 tackle in the Dolphins’ 14-6 preseason win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. 
  • Cleveland Browns Tight End Blake Whiteheart logged 1 catch for 12 yards in the Browns’ 19-17 preseason win over the Los Angeles Rams. 
  • Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver Darius Cooper logged 1 catch for 8 yards in the Eagles’ 19-17 preseason win over the New York Jets. 
  • Arizona Cardinals Tight End Josiah Deguara caught 1 pass for 26 yards in the Cardinals’ 20-10 preseason win over the Las Vegas Raiders. 
  • New Orleans Saints Tight End Seth Green caught 1 pass for 5 yards in the Saints’ 28-19 preseason loss to the Denver Broncos. 

Premier Lacrosse League: 

  • Philadelphia Waterdogs Attackman Michael Sowers scored 4 goals and logged 4 assists in the Waterdogs’ 14-12 win over the Maryland Whipsnakes. Sowers’ teammate, Attackman Kieran McArdle, tallied 6 goals in the win. Defenseman Kenny Brower logged 2 caused turnovers and recovered 3 ground balls in the win as well. 
  • On the opposition, Maryland Whipsnakes Attackman Rob Pannell scored 2 goals and logged 2 assists in the Whipsnakes’ 14-12 loss to the Philadelphia Waterdogs. 
  • California Redwoods Midfielder Romar Dennis tallied one goal, a two-point score, in the Redwoods’ 14-12 win over the Carolina Chaos. 
  • On the opposition, Carolina Chaos Defenseman Jack Rowlett logged 1 caused turnover and recovered 1 ground ball in the Chaos’ 14-12 loss to the California Redwoods.
