Q-Collar Week in Review (June 12) - Q30

This week was yet another week full of high-impact performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out some of their highlights below:

PLL Lacrosse:

  • Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman netted a hat-trick, which included this diving backhanded finish, and assisted on another goal in the Cannons’ 14-13 loss to the Chaos.
  • On the opposition, Chaos Defenseman Jack Rowlett and Will Bowen recovered 2 ground balls and 3 ground balls respectively in the win.
  • Waterdogs Attackman Michael Sowers scored 2 goals, including this leaping finish, and registered 2 assists, including this feed from behind the net, in the Waterdogs’ 10-9 loss to the Redwoods.
  • On the other side, Redwoods Midfielder Jules Heningburg notched an assist in the win.
  • Chrome Defenseman Jesse Bernhardt recovered 2 ground balls in the Chrome’s 12-7 loss to the Archers.
  • Atlas Defenseman Jake Richard recovered 1 ground ball in the Atlas’ 12-11 victory over the Whipsnakes.
MLS Soccer:
  • San Jose Earthquakes Striker Jeremy Ebobisse scored a goal in the Earthquakes’ 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Union.
NWSL Soccer:
  • Portland Thorns Defender Meghan Klingenberg started and played all 90 minutes of the Thorns’ 3-1 loss to the Orlando Pride.
MILB Baseball:
  • Montgomery Biscuits (Tampa Bay Rays AA Affiliate) Catcher Logan Driscoll went 2 for 11 with a home run, 1 RBI and 3 runs scored in the three games he appeared in, all against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (Miami Marlins AA Affiliate).
